Lord Parashurama gets furious when Ram confesses that he broke the Shiv Dhanush. He explains to Lord Parashurama that he had only done what was told to him in the contest. He states that Lord Parashurama could behead him, if he believes that he had committed a mistake. Lord Parashurama gives a bow and arrow to Ram. He asks Ram to release the arrow in the eastern direction so that his anger goes away. Ram also appears as Lord Vishnu to Lord Parashurama.Before leaving, Lord Parashurama tells King Janak that he is blessed to have Ram as his son-in-law. Ram tells Sage Vishwamitra and King Janak to invite his parents for the wedding. Meanwhile, the kings, who lost the swayamvar, decide to kidnap Sita before her wedding.Sage Vishwamitra asks King Janak for Urmila, Manvi and Shrutkeerti's hand for Ram's brothers' in marriage. King Janak happily agrees. King Janak receives a message from the king of the demons. The message read that the king wants King Janak to cancel Sita and Ram's wedding.Laxman tells Ram that he cannot marry Urmila as he has dedicated his life to serve Ram and hence had no place for anyone in his life. Urmila, who overhears their conversation, gets upset. Ram asks Laxman to reconsider his decision as he could not see him sacrificing his life for him.Janak informs his brothers that the army of the demons are coming to attack their kingdom as they do not want Sita to marry Ram. Sita notices Urmila in tears and questions her. On learning about Laxman's decision, Sita assures Urmila that if Laxman is meant for her, he would surely marry her.The king of the demons reaches Mithila. The Rakshas notices Sita walking in the garden and gets mesmerised by her beauty.The Rakshas notices Ram heading towards the garden and so he goes away. Laxman arrives at the spot and stops Ram from going next to Sita. Ram gets shocked when Laxman aims an arrow in Sita's direction.
