Salman Khan is returning with a feature film, Radhe, this Eid. Directed by Prabhudeva, Radhe is a remake of a South-Korean action film, The Outlaws. Ahead of the Radhe movie release, take a look at some earlier films of Salman Khan, which are also remakes of either Indian or international films.
God Tussi Great Ho (2008)
This 2008 supernatural comedy film, directed by Rumi Jaffery, is a remake of the 2003 Hollywood flick, Bruce Almighty, starring Jim Carrey and Morgan Freeman. Salman Khan plays the lead role in God Tussi Great Ho, which was played by Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty, and Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of God, that Morgan Freeman had played in the original.
Wanted (2009)
Wanted, the 2009 Prabhudeva directorial, is a remake of the Telugu film Pokiri, which was released in 2006, and starred Mahesh Babu, Ileana D’Cruz, and Prakash Raj. It was directed by Puri Jagannadh.
Ready (2011)
Ready, the action comedy film, directed by Anees Bazmee, is a remake of the Telugu film of the same name, which stars Ram Pothineni and Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh in the lead roles. The Telugu film, Ready, came out in 2008.

Bodyguard (2011)
The 2011 romcom, Bodyguard, which was directed by Siddique Ismail, is a remake of a Malayalam film of the same name, which had come out in 2010, and was also written and directed by Siddique Ismail himself.
Judwa (1997)
The hilarious action-comedy, Judwa, directed by David Dhawan, is a remake of the Telugu film Hello Brother (1994). Interestingly, the Telugu film is also inspired by a 1992 action comedy film, Twin Dragons, starring Jackie Chan.
Tere Naam (2003)
The Satish Kaushik directorial, Tere Naam, is a remake of the Tamil film Sethu (1999). It starred Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role and was written and directed by Bala Palanisamy, who also wrote Tere Naam.

Jai Ho (2014)
Jai Ho, directed by Sohail Khan, is a remake of the Telugu film, Stalin (2006), directed by A. R. Murugadoss, starring Chiranjeevi and Trisha. Stalin is also inspired by a Hollywood drama film, Pay It Forward.
Kick (2014)
Kick, the action drama film directed by Sajid Nadiadwala is a remake of the Telugu film released with the same name, which was released in 2009. Kick, the Telugu film, starring Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead roles.
Bharat (2019)
Bharat, the drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is a remake of a South Korean film, titled, Ode To My Father, which was released in 2014. It was directed by Yoon Je-kyoon, and starred Hwang Jung-min in the lead role.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015)
This family drama film, directed by Sooraj Barjatya, is also a remake of a South Korean film. The film is titled Masquerade, and it was released in 2012.
Tubelight (2017)
The Kabir Khan directorial, Tubelight, is a remake of a Hollywood film from 2015, titled Little Boy. Little Boy is directed by Alejandro Gómez Monteverde and stars Jakob Salvati, Emily Watson, and David Henrie in prominent roles.
Hello Brother (1999)
The action comedy film, Hello Brother, directed by Sohail Khan, is also a remake of a Hollywood film. Titled Heart Condition, the film was released in 1990 and stars Denzel Washington and Bob Hoskins in the lead roles.
