Disha Patani Looks Forward To Reuniting With Mohit Suri For Ek Villain 2

After keeping our life on halt almost for a year, we all are getting back to work while adopting the new normals. And, Bollywood stars are to getting back to the sets of their films, either to commence or to resume the shoot of their upcoming projects. And, it seems like a handful of celebrities have started the year 2021 on a high note as they have multiple films in their kitty. Being one of them, Disha Patani is also excited to start the shoot of her upcoming film and reuniting with director Mohit Suri for his next film, Ek Villain 2. The 28-year-old actor is “super excited” to commence the shoot and reunite with Mohit Suri.

Interestingly, filmmaker Mohit Suri and Disha Patani worked in Malang as a director-actor duo. The film garnered a positive response from the audience and the critics alike. On the other hand, Mohit also donned the hat of a director for Ek Villain, which featured Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. Apart from being a hit at the box-office, Malang also became the most popular action film as well as one of the most trending films of 2020 on an OTT platform. Talking about the lead cast of Ek Villain 2, along with Disha, Tara Sutaria and John Abraham will also play the main characters. The upcoming film will be produced under the banner of Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.

On the other hand, it was reported that Aditya Roy Kapur, who was roped in for the projected, opted out of it due to creative differences and dates issue. It is said that before this, Aditya and Mohit were good friends. But, these differences are going to affect their equation. Interestingly, Aditya was pitched against John.

Coming back to Disha Patani, currently, she is gearing up for her upcoming film Radhe, starring Salman Khan. Multiple reports surfacing online have stated that the makers of the action-thriller are planning to give it an OTT release. In response to these reports, the film exhibitors have written a request letter and asked Salman Khan to release ‘Radhe’ in theatres instead of on OTT platform.
