Rajiv Kapoor’s death has shocked the entire Bollywood and the film buffs. Here is some trivia about the late actor which is not quite known amongst the audience.

Actor Rajiv Kapoor passed away in Chembur, on Tuesday, after suffering from a heart attack at the age of 58. The artist was the youngest one of the Kapoor brothers and is well known amidst the audience as a Bollywood producer and actor. His funeral was attended by a number of Bollywood dignitaries including Shah Rukh Khan and Sonali Bendre, amongst others. According to various reports, Rajiv Kapoor was not on pleasant terms with his father, Raj Kapoor and the reason had a lot to do with their collaborative film, Ram Teri Ganga Maili. The late actor did not deliver too many successful films and he partially held his father responsible for this setback.

Actor Rajiv Kapoor passed away on Tuesday due to a cardiac arrest and his fans have lately been remembering his greatest moments and best works. According to the video attached above. Rajiv Kapoor only saw one blockbuster film in his Bollywood career, which was Ram Teri Ganga Maili, by his father Raj Kapoor. He reportedly blamed his father for his lack of success and was hence, never in great terms with him. As per the video, he also skipped Raj Kapoor’s funeral due to the rough relationship he shared with the legendary actor and filmmaker.

According to the short anecdote, Rajiv Kapoor blamed his father Raj Kapoor for taking away all the credit even though he was an integral part of the film. The female lead of the film, Mandakini received immense acclamation for her work in the film but Rajiv Kapoor’s role was somewhat neglected. Raj Kapoor also promised to make another big-budget film with his youngest son but the project never took off due to various reasons. Rajiv Kapoor went on to do a variety of Bollywood films like Prem Granth and Aasmaan, amongst others but none of them was as successful as Ram Teri Ganga Maili.
