Kriti Sanon To Star In Anurag Kashyap’s Kill Bill Hindi Remake

Anurag Kashyap recently acquired the rights to remake the Hindi version of Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill. It is a very popular 2003 American film which revolves around a bride who swears to avenge all those who tried to kill her and her unborn child. The second part of this film was released in the year 2004. As per reports, Anurag Kashyap is going to cast actress Kriti Sanon for the lead role of his remake.

Anurag Kashyap and Kriti Sanon will be working together for the first time. Even though the film has already been announced, there is no update regarding the shoot yet. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, no announcement regarding the shooting schedule has been made yet. However, reports claim that Kashyap’s team will be arranging for all the necessary permits needed to take the film on the floors.

Upcoming projects of Kriti Sanon

Kriti has an interesting lineup of films which include Mimi and Hum Do Hamare Do. In Mimi, she will be seen alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar and more. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and is said to loosely based on the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy. She will also be seen in  Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya opposite Varun Dhawan. The film is a comedy horror and is all set to release in April 2022. Another one of her future projects includes Adipurush, in which she will be seen alongside Saif Ali Khan and Prabhas.

As for Anurag Kashyap, his next film will be Dobaaraa featuring actress Tapsee Pannu. The shooting of this film was wrapped in March 2021.
