Shilpa Shetty Marks Her Presence At Akshay Kumar’s House To Pay Condolence To The Family

Akshay Kumar’s mother, Aruna Bhatia breathed her last, yesterday, i.e., September 8. She was admitted to Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital on September 3 and was in a critical condition. Unfortunately, yesterday she passed away in the hospital and left Akshay in tears. The actor was shooting for Cindrella with Ranjit Tewari in London when he received he heard about his mother being hospitalized. Within no time he took a decision to fly back to Mumbai. Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter handle to share the sad news about his beloved mother.

While sharing the news on Twitter he wrote, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”

Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna, daughter Nitara, and several colleagues from the film industry attended the funeral of his mother, Aruna Bhatia. Right from film director Rohit Shetty, actor Riteish Deshmukh, producer Ramesh Taurani to actor Karan Kapadia and filmmaker Sajid Khan were among the Bollywood personalities who attended the funeral of Akshay Kumar’s mother on Wednesday.

Other Bollywood stars including Ajay Devgn, Dia Mirza, Nimrat Kaur, Pooja Bhatt, Hansal Mehta, and others took to social media to express their sorrow and gave strength to Akshay Kumar’s family.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty are all set to collaborate on the upcoming film Sooryavanshi. Apart from this he also has Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, and Ram Setu in his pipeline. He will also be a part of films like Atrangi Re and Raksha Bandhan wherein he will be seen sharing the screen space with actor Bhumi Pednekar.
