Allu Arha bowls over Samantha Ruth Prabhu with her young talent

The talented leave their imprints on sands of time at an early age. At least this is the first impression that Majili actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared about Allu Arha. Tollywood watchers need no introduction to Allu Arha, the four-year-old daughter of seasoned actor Allu Arjun. Following in the footsteps of her father, Allu Arha is set to make her filmy debut in Gunasekhar’s Shakuntalam that has the former junior bahu of the Akkineni family – Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead.

Allu Arha essays the role of young prince Bharata in this film. Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a recent interview with Filmfare noted that Allu Arha is cut out for greater cine heights in the days ahead. The poise that young Allu Arha showed on the sets that had at least 300-odd people is what amazed Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Her ability to deliver a shot in the first take, as well as her ability to deliver her dialogues fluently in Telugu so much amazed this seasoned star that Samantha Ruth Prabhu predicted Allu Arha will be a superstar in the days ahead.

The actor added that the cine-goers will agree with her assessment once they see Allu Arha’s performance on the big screen. Allu Arha’s debut is a continuation of a family legacy in the Telugu film industry and she is the fourth generation to brighten up the silver screen.

What made Allu Arha’s cine debut all the more noticeable was the fact that her ability to deliver without many retakes meant she completed her schedule much ahead of time. And this is music to the ears of both the directors and producers when their stars – big or tiny tot, in this case, deliver with minimal fuss.

Needless to state, one of those 300-odd people on the sets was Sneha Reddy, the dotting mom of this future superstar. The proud papa Allu Arjun also thanked the team of Shakuntalam for allowing the fourth generation of the family to continue the family tradition.

Shakuntalam incidentally is a film adaptation of Kalidasa’s Shakuntala. While Samantha Ruth Prabhu essays the title role of Shakuntala, Mollywood star Dev Mohan is Dushyanta. The film also has Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, Mohan Babu and Gautami as supporting cast
