Chehre Teaser: Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi Starrer Is Promising Enough; Release Date Preponed!

The teaser of one of the most awaited films of 2021 is finally here! Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film Chehre has already garnered a lot of media attention, thanks to the star cast. It is the first time that Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi are collaborating for a movie and both the star’s fans are excited to see how the film turns out to be.

In the 45-second teaser, Annu Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan can be seen talking about the criminal behaviour of humans and how the justice system only punishes the ones that are caught. All three actors give a powerful dialogue delivery in this teaser. The release date of this Rumy Jafry directorial has also been preponed. While earlier it was scheduled to release on 30th April, the new release date is announced as 9th April.

Why Cheat India actor, Emraan Hashmi shared the teaser on his Instagram page while writing, “Are you ready to #FaceTheGame? Kyuki iss adaalat mein khel ki shuruaat ho chuki hai.”

While we loved the teaser and it has definitely created curiosity among the audiences, we couldn’t help but notice that Rhea Chakraborty was missing from the teaser as well. Earlier, when the poster of the film was shared, apart from the lead cast, it also featured Raghubir Yadav and Krystle D’Souza. Whereas, Rhea Chakraborty was nowhere to be seen. In fact, she wasn’t even tagged in the caption of both the posts.

It is believed that she was not shown in the poster or teaser, as her scenes might have been cut from the film, owing to the controversy in 2020 around her name. Well, nothing has been officially announced yet, we’ll have to wait and watch the trailer to see if Rhea is shown or not.
