Dakota Johnson Wore Gucci Lingerie on the Red Carpet 

At the New York City premiere of her film The Lost Daughter on Wednesday (September 29), Dakota Johnson wore a black lace corset with high-waisted leather trousers. The black corset had Gucci’s GG logo all over it, which was nothing out of the ordinary as the actress is an ambassador for the brand.

She accessorized the lingerie-inspired top in a bare minimum way, with a diamond necklace, black stilettos, and a thin black matching belt from Gucci. She sported her signature fringe, and her deep brown, textured hair was styled in blow-dried waves.

One might know Dakota Johnson for her role in the novel based movie series of Fifty Shades. She is known to have a witty sense of humour, as seen during many of her interviews with Ellen DeGeneres and many award shows. During recent times, her interview with Architectural Digest had a high view count. She gave a house tour of her green, earthy and traditional feeling home where she talks about how much she loves limes.

In a recent revelation, she said that she is actually allergic to limes. She recently got her infamous front teeth gap removed and even that made headlines.

History of her styling lingerie as outerwear

The Lost Daughter Actress has had a past of styling lingerie as an outerwear effortlessly.  So much so that wearing lingerie on the red carpet has become Dakota Johnson’s thing and we’re not complaining. After appearing in a sheer pink lace jumpsuit and a matching lingerie set at the digital screening for Gucci’s Aria collection this spring, and later at the Venice Film Festival in a bralette top with her blazer, the actress did not break the streak.

This time she accentuated the corset with pants trend. Her makeup was minimal with brown shadow which highlighted her immensely blue eyes and a glossy nude lip.

The Lost Daughter is a 2021 psychological drama film written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, based on the novel by the same name, by Elena Ferrante. The film stars are Dakota Johnson, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Ed Harris etc.

It had its world premiere at the 78th Venice International Film Festival on September 3, 2021, It is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 17, 2021.

In December 2017, multiple sources confirmed to the US Weekly that Dakota Johnson and Coldplay singer Chris Martin are together. “Dakota and Chris are definitely dating,” one source said. “They’ve gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable from one another. Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion. It’s more than just a fling.”
