Delhi Based Rapper MC Kode Goes Missing After Posting Cryptic Message On Instagram

A 22-year-old Delhi based rapper, who goes by the stage name MC Kode, has reportedly gone missing after writing an alleged suicide note. He posted a cryptic message on social media hinting at suicide, on Wednesday, and has been missing ever since. MC Kode, whose real name is Aditya Tiwari, was reportedly distressed over a Twitter trend demanding his arrest. The netizens were irked over a 6-year-old viral video, in which he could be seen rapping ‘profanely’ about Mahabharat.

The old video, which recently went viral on social media, landed the young rapper in a huge controversy. He was brutally trolled for the same and the netizens started a trend on social media, demanding his arrest. As per the reports, he was also subjected to abuses and death threats.

Aditya’s mother said that he left home on June 1 at 11 am following which he posted the suicide note, and has been missing since then. In the note, the rapper wrote that he ‘wants peace and that hardships have weakened him.’ He also mentioned that he is standing on the Yamuna bridge as the ‘river’s waves have answers to all his problems.’ In the note, he also begged for forgiveness and said that ‘my selfish actions will definitely cause a great amount of grief…please don’t bother the people associated with me, give them time to grieve.’

While addressing the media, Aditya’s mother said that there was a rap battle in which he (Aditya) said a few things that did not sit right with other people. The video of this 6-year-old battle went viral and he started receiving abuses and death threats. He was completely cornered. Aditya even issued a public apology but even after that when social media torture did not end, he left a suicide note and has been missing since then.

The video in question reportedly went viral on May 25 following which a trend demanding his arrest started on social media.  Aditya was really ‘disturbed’ because of this trend due to which he shared the cryptic message on social media, hinting at suicide. As per the reports, Delhi police is currently searching for the missing rapper.
