Now, as the film celebrates its sixth anniversary, we take you back to the Gerua track shoot, when Kajol saved SRK’s life.

During the Gerua making-of film, Kajol said that they were shooting beneath a waterfall in a cave whenever an event occurred. The actress said in the video that as she and Shah Rukh were practising their romantic dance moves, Shah Rukh might have taken a catastrophic fall off the cliff and died as a result. Remarkably, Kajol clutched SRK’s arm at the last second and spared him from the enormous fall.

In the making-of video for the Dilwale song, Shah Rukh is shown confessing that Kajol saved his life and that he owes everything to her. In the video, Shah Rukh is heard saying that he owes his life to her and that his life is now hers. That undoubtedly demonstrates the depth of Shah Rukh and Kajol’s connection. The pair’s rapport in Dilwale was among the film’s major highlights, and they remain one of Bollywood’s most legendary duos.
