Father’s Day Spl: 5 Tips You Can Take From Onscreen Dads On How To Raise A Child Like Abhi And Malhar

Debanjali Kabiraj . Jun 19, 2021 .

On the occasion of Father’s day, here are some essential qualities that you can learn from Zee TV’s doting daddies.

Every father plays a very important role in a child’s upbringing. While a mother is the one who scolds you for your mistakes, a father is the one who helps you hide it from your mother with a promise that you won’t repeat it. Fathers often tend to be a child’s best friend and protector, who can go to any length in order to keep their child safe. Bringing up a child is a huge responsibility and a few slip-ups are a part of the journey. So why don’t we take tips from the experienced fathers of Zee shows on how to raise a child the right way? This Father’s Day, let’s have a look at things we can learn from our Zee daddies.

Malhar – Be a friend to your child

Malhar (Sehban Azim) from Tujhse Hai Raabta is a very doting and loving father to Moksh. He has always been a friend and a confidant to his son. Malhar is often seen playing with Moksh and we have also seen him team up with Moksh in order to pull Kalyani’s (Reem Shaikh) leg. When Moksh came to the Rane family after a very long time, he was most comfortable with Malhar because of his friendly nature. This helps a child open up and be comfortable with his surroundings.

Kuldeep – Own up to your mistake

In one of the episodes of Kyon Rishton Mein Katti Batti, Kuldeep (Siddhanth Vir Surryavanshi) slaps Rishi when he talks to Samaira (Sapna Thakur) rudely. Rishi and Shubhra (Neha Marda) get very upset and decide to leave Mumbai and reside in Pune. Kuldeep realises his mistake and goes to Pune to apologise to his son. When Rishi does not accept his apology, Kuldeep promises to make the day special for him and puts lots of efforts to make Rishi happy. Just because you are a parent does not mean you are always right. So when you make any mistake apologise and make up for it right away.

Abhi – Teach your child to be content with what they have

In an episode of Kumkum Bhagya, we see that Rhea (Pooja Banerjee) gets jealous of Prachi (Mugdha Chaphekar) and starts cursing her. Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) steps in and tells her that Prachi took the blame for a crime she did not commit and that is why people are praising her. Rhea adamantly says that everything works out for Prachi because she has a mother. Abhi reverts back and tells her that she should be happy with what she has and not be jealous of other’s possession. That is definitely one good lesson to teach to your children.
