Often Bollywood stars are seen getting nostalgic where they either talk about their inspiring journey or share some interesting stories from the past which are nothing but delightful. Speaking of this, on this flashback Friday, we have brought you an old video snippet of superstar Dharmendra. A few years back the actor graced the popular talks show Aapki Adalat and shared some interesting anecdotes about his drinking habits.
Watch the video:
As seen in the video, Dharmendra very poetically said, “Life is incomplete without love and drinks.” While host Rajat Sharma questioned him about his “non-stop” consumption of alcohol, the actor answered, “I had quit for almost six months, I used to play badminton, and doing so I set a proper routine. But again the habit never ends.” Dharmendra laughingly added, “I am an extremist person.”
Sharing an interesting story from the sets of his film Aag Hi Aag, Dharmendra was quoted saying, “While shooting for the film Aag Hi Aag, one afternoon I thought of having a beer. So, I filled it in a glass so no one could find out and that’s when my co-star Moushami Chatterjee quizzed me about it and I answered saying it is ‘Lassi’. And the next moment she asked me to offer her the same.”
The actor opened up about many such stories and fans were highly impressed by his honest persona. Dharmendra has been a thorough entertainer be it on-screens or off-screens. Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor was last seen in the action-comedy Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se which received mixed reviews. Also, the actor is prepping for the sequel of the 2007 film Apne which is scheduled for Diwali 2021 release.
