The International Film Festival Of India began with a blast. B-Town’s Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Shraddha Kapoor and many others recreated the retro Bollywood with their performances – You can’t afford to miss this

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which recently began its 52nd season in Goa, is poised to delight spectators. The nine-day film festival, which will take place in a mixed format (virtual and physical), will run till November 28. Salman Khan, who is well known for his film Hud Hud Dabangg, was recently spotted dancing to his hit song Hud Hud Dabangg and other classic tunes. Meanwhile, Shraddha sang a mix of songs like Kar Har Maidan Fateh and Badal Pe Paon Hain, while Riteish and Genelia encouraged regional film and performed to Marathi music.

IFFI’s official Instagram page also posted photos of Ranveer, Mouni, and the rest of the cast performing. The Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement award will be given to Hollywood legend Martin Scorsese and acclaimed Hungarian filmmaker Istevan Szabo during this year’s International Film Festival of India, which is expected to be the largest ever.

At the 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India, veteran performer Hema Malini was honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year 2021 Award. The event began on Saturday and will run from November 20 through November 28 in Goa. The Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Panaji, Goa, hosted the opening ceremony. On the festival’s last day, lyricist and CBFC Chairman Prasoon Joshi will be honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award.

The Directorate of Film Festivals (Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) and the Entertainment Society of Goa, Government of Goa, are co-organizing the film festival. Over 300 films from across the world will be shown during the festival. In the International Section, IFFI will play 148 films from 73 countries, featuring 12 world debuts, 7 international premieres, 26 Asia premieres, and 64 India premieres. The opening ceremony of IFFI 2021 was hosted by Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul. Politicians such as Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant also attended the event.
