In Scarlett Johansson and Disney lawsuit, these Marvel stars have spoken

Scarlett Johansson has filed a lawsuit against Disney over a financial disagreement surrounding the distribution of her solo film Black Widow. Scarlett Johansson has alleged that she lost money since the film was not given an exclusive theatrical release, but rather a hybrid release. Whereas on one hand, Scarlett Johansson’s Disney lawsuit has attracted many eyes, the actress also underwent numerous backlashes and praises. It was definitely a setback on the actress’ relationship with the Marvel and Disney team since they’ve been working with each other for very long.  

Here’s what some of the co-Marvel stars had to say about the Black Widow actress and her Disney lawsuit. 

Elizabeth Olsen 

The WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen spoke out her views on Scarlett Johansson’s Disney lawsuit in a recent interview. The actress was all praises while saying how she thought Scarlett Johansson was really tough to take such a step. The Marvel co-star also added that when it comes to the actor’s payments, it is all contracts. So, either it is in the contract or it isn’t.

Jason Sudeikis 

The new Marvel actor, Jason Sudeikis, weighed into Scarlett Johansson’s lawsuit by saying that it was very much appropriate. He also added how he felt that the Black Widow actress was on-point and badass with her decision. 

Benedict Cumberbatch 

The ‘Doctor Strange’ actor, Benedict Cumberbatch, added his opinion on Scarlett Johansson’s lawsuit by saying that the entire thing is a little messy. He also stated that the whole case and the lawyers’ part is a bit sad since everything is being dumped on grounds of the pandemic. 

O-T Fagbenle

The Black Widow star O-T Fagbenle, when asked for his opinion on the Disney lawsuit, took a defensive side. He stated how he is not in a position to speak about the whole matter since he isn’t fully aware. To top it off, the actor stated that he does feel that all the actors should be paid as promised.

After Scarlett Johannson’s Disney lawsuit news surfaced, Dave Bautista, who portrays Drax in the Marvel blockbusters, and has appeared with her in films, received outrage for a tweet he put out. The fans and admirers of Scarlett Johansson showed their outrage by replying to his tweet.
