Indian Pro Music League March 13-14 Episode Round Up: Mumbai Warriors Win The First Super Match With The Highest Number Of Votes

Indian Pro Music League kickstarted on 27 February. After the first super match and three league matches, the results of who got the highest votes and who won the league matches were much awaited by the six teams. On 13 March, the second super match began. Host Karan Wahi and Waluscha announced the scores of the previous matches before they welcomed teams to perform.
Mumbai Warriors stole the limelight on the show by securing the highest votes among the six teams after the first week of IPML. In the three league matches, Delhi Jammers, Mumbai Warriors, and UP Dabanggs kickstarted with two points each on the scoreboard.
Before the second super match started, the hosts welcomed the cast of Roohi – Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Karan Wahi then announced the theme of the super match which was reliving the old era of music. The first performance was given by Mumbai Warriors’ captain Kailash Kher along with Shilpa Rao. They gave a powerpack performance as they sang songs from the golden era of the 1980s. Next under the spotlight was captain Shaan, Akriti Kakkar and new entry Mismi Bose from Bengal Tigers. They relived the old era of ‘disco’ with songs like I am a Disco dancer.
Host Waluscha then welcomed Janhvi Kapoor and all other female singers for a performance on the song Panghat sang by Asees Kaur. The next performance was given by Gujarat Rockers. Javed Ali and Bhoomi Trivedi set the stage on fire with songs like Aaj Mausam Bada Beimaan Hai and Aaj Ki Raat. Later, Javed Ali narrated his life story and how he struggled in life to reach this stage. The Hosts then welcomed Javed Ali’s mother who said a few words about how proud she feels for having a son like him.
Next, we had Punjab Lions’ captain Mika Singh along with his team members Rupali Jagga, Asees Kaur and Shahnaaz making the audience groove on their song Singh is King. The last two performances were given by Delhi Jammers and UP Dabangg. Delhi Jammers’ captains Sajid Khan with his whole team sang the songs Saat Samundar and Tujhko Mirchi Lagi while UP Dabangg captains Payal Dev and Ankit Tiwari created a romantic aura with the song Tum Hi Ho.
In the second round of Supermatch, IPML teams came on stage for a face-off. From every team, one professional singer was sent for this big face-off. Rupali Jagga, Ankush Bhardwaj, Purva Mantri, Hemant Brijwasi, Salman Ali, and Ruturaj Mohanti gave magical performances as they competed with each other in the face-off round.
League Match – Gujarat Rockers Vs Bengal Tigers
On March 14, Gujarat Rockers were welcomed on stage for a faceoff with Bengal Tigers. The IPML was tossed and Gujarat Rockers won the toss. They chose to bowl and so Bengal Tigers went first in the League match. The all-rounder of Bengal Tigers, Nikita Gandhi was welcomed on-stage. She gave a magical performance as she sang the song Qaafirana. Later, the new all-rounder from Gujarat Rockers, Aditi Singh Sharma gave a fair fight to Nikita in the first round.
For the second round, Captain Shaan and new entry Mismi Bose from Bengal Tigers gave a beautiful performance. Shaan was also surprised by the IPML team as his wife Radhika was welcomed later on the stage. After Shaan-Radhika’s romantic interaction, Javed Ali, captain of Gujarat Rockers was welcomed on stage. He narrated the backstory of the song Kun Faya Kun. Ali mentioned that AR Rahman had asked him to get purified just as they do for Namaz and then come to the studio to record the song. Later, Javed Ali gave a mesmerizing performance as he sang the same song.
In the next round, Shaan, Mismi Bose, Nikita Gandhi, and Ruturaj sang a religious folk song as they celebrated their love for God while Gujarat Rockers set up a dancing mood as they sang the song Nagada Nagada. Javed Ali’s wife surprised him by coming on the IPML stage. He informed that it is for the first time his wife has made an appearance on a reality show. For the last round, Gujarat Rockers’ three divas Bhoomi Trivedi, Aditi Singh Sharma, and Laaj sang the song Tu Hai Kahan while Akriti Kakkar like a lone wolf set the stage on fire with the song Khair Mangdi.
In the end, it was time for the ultimate Pro face-off. Bhoomi Trivedi from Gujarat Rockers went against Akriti Kakkar from Bengal Tigers. They sang the song Namak Ishq Ka. Finally, the audiences were asked to vote for the duo and the one with the maximum number of votes will win this Pro face-off.
