Kangana Ranaut paid homage to her idol Jayalalithaa on her 5th heath anniversary. The actress posted a story on her Instagram account. Read more onto it

Kangana Ranaut expressed gratitude to late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on the fifth anniversary of her death on Sunday. Kangana shared an image of Jayalalithaa to Instagram Stories with the caption, “On Amma’s Punyatithi… remembering the Iron Lady…Purchai Dr J. Jayalalithaa.”

Kangana Ranaut could not have been more persuasive as J Jayalalithaa, the actress-turned-politician whose life she brought to life on screen this year. Since the film’s premiere on the digital platform, the actress has earned recognition not just for her impeccable depiction but also for highlighting the essence of ‘Amma’ so wonderfully. As a result, it’s no wonder that the actress-turned-politician has now become an integral part of Kangana’s life.

Jayalalithaa, who served as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister six times, died on December 5, 2016, after being hospitalized for about 75 days for different diseases. Kangana played Jayalalithaa in the film ‘Thalaivii,’ which was released earlier this year.

Reportedly, not so long ago, Kangana Ranaut was conferred with the most prestigious award, the Padma Shri, however, leading reports want that the award should be seized from her. Now, the official Sikh authorities have issued multiple complaints eliciting outrageously offensive and derogatory Instagram stories/posts allegedly published by the actress via her social media handles. Leading reports claim that the comments made by the actress about the Sikh community have the power to disturb the peace and harmony in the society.
