Karan Johar has been directing films in the B-Town industry and he had introduced numerous fresh faces and skyrocketed their careers. The director has introduced Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, and many more but, the three actors have defined GenZ in the true sense.
Also, in his latest interview, Karan Johar revealed how debutants and technicians have been charging a huge amount despite the pandemic and he revealed how the crew of the film needs to be paid better because they work a lot and also because of the pandemic many fields had crippled down to shreds but now as the pandemic has eased the filmmaker on a nation portal revealed how he is fed up of debutants who ask for Rs. 20-30 crore for one debut film.
The filmmaker revealed that he has seen prices of actors hit rock bottom because of the pandemic and the current debutants asking for a hefty amount is not justified. He added that they don’t understand and think that since films ride on digital platforms these days money makes its way in the entertainment industry but, it isn’t that easy. The filmmaker expressed the concern and we cannot help but ponder on his words.
The filmmaker feels that since debutants have to prove themselves in the industry via their merit and thus they shouldn’t ask for hefty amounts beforehand. Karan Johar added that signing films with megastars still makes sense but, debutants who are performing or going to act in a standalone debut film must wait and prove themselves in the industry by dedicating their art and craft to the industry.

Karan Johar, in terms of work, has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in the charts for himself alongside Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The director had previously produced Sooryavanshi and he had earned a massive hit because of the multi-starrer flick.
