Maari 22 February 2024 Written Update: Will Tara Discover Maari’s Deceit?

In the previous episode of Maari, Maria enters her room and gives out a loud screech when she spots two ghostly figures who beat her. Surya and Hasini remove their mask and plan to torture Maria even more. Maria comes running and tells the family about seeing a ghost who beat her, but Tara and Jagdish refuse to believe her and condemn her for cooking up stories. Sankarapandi claims that there is no ghost when Tara tells him to check Maria’s room. Hasini laughs to see Maria’s condition, Sreeja claims that Maria has lost her mental balance. Tara takes Maria to her room and makes her understand that the house is not haunted. Tara comforts Maria, who retaliates when no one believes her. Sankarapandi feels that Maria has lost her mental balance and suggests that she should be taken to the ‘Kathu Karuppu’ temple to remove her fear.  Surya tells Maari about scaring Maria and Hasini hitting Maria. Maria fears when Tara takes her to the occultist to remove her fear. Tara and Sankarapandi sympathise with Maria when the occultist whips her.

In the next episode of Maari, Maria is confused and ponders over the incident. She enters her room and is shocked to see Maari once again. Maari starts hitting Maria and chases her out of the room. This time, Maria locks Maari in the room and calls out to Tara and Sankarapandi to prove the truth. Sreeja lashes out at Maria for cooking up stories. Parvathy feels Maria is hallucinating and tries to calm her down. But Hasini senses danger to Maari and sets her free. At Maria’s behest, Tara and Sankarapandi enter her room only to find it empty. Meanwhile, Maari steps out of Surya’s house and looks for a rickshaw to reach home. Hasini raises a question to Maria when she claims that Maari was there. Maria feels dejected when none of the members believe her. Maria then tells Tara to go to Maari’s house to find the truth. Maari gets stressed when she fails to find the rickshaw driver. By then, Hasini comes out of the house and tells Maari about Tara and the family going to her house to find the truth. Initially, Tara refuses but after umpteen coaxing she agrees to go to Maari’s house. Maari is in a fix and hides when she sees Tara and the others getting into the car. Maari gets worried when the rickshaw fails to start. Maari tries to reach home before Tara and Maria can reach her house. A worried Maari calls Surya and tells him about Tara and Maria’s visit. Surya comforts Maria and assures her of handling the situation. Surya panics when Tara reaches his house.
