Mumbai Police Arrest Bollywood Producer Parag Sanghvi In Fraud Case – Deets Inside

Parag Sanghvi is a film producer in the Bollywood industry who has landed into legal trouble. According to a police official, the producer, on Tuesday, has been arrested in connection with a housing fraud case in Mumbai. He has been sent to jail till December 25. As per Mahendra Ranmal Shah, who has filed the complaint, he had purchased three flats in the year 2013.

Those flats were located at Turner Road. He purchased them from Kamala Infra and Kamala Landmark Properties, which are the companies of the Kamala Landmark group. Mahendra Ranmal Shah then contracted out one of the flats to Alumbra Entertainment and Media Pvt Ltd, another company of the Kamala Landmark group. For an unversed, producer Parag Sanghvi and Jitendra Jain are directors of Alumbra Entertainment and Media Pvt Ltd.

Kamala Landmark Properties sold the property to a third party, the official said. On the complaint of Shah, an FIR under IPC sections related to cheating, criminal conspiracy, breach of trust, making a false document, forgery of valuable security, using as genuine a forged document and common intention was registered against Sanghvi and others.
