National Investigation Agency Grill Kerala Minister KT Jaleel In Connection With Customs Gold Scam

Kerala minister KT Jaleel has reached the National Investigation Agency (NIA) office in Kochi after the investigating agency found some connections of the minister with customs gold scam. According to the news reports, the NIA authorities have found KT Jaleel’s links with Swapna Suresh, an accused in the gold smuggling case. The minister is currently grilled by the NIA officials. Previously, he was interrogated by the ED (Enforcement Directorate). Sources also state that several protests against KT Jaleel take place in Kerela almost every day. The protestors demand the minister’s resignation as soon as possible.

Earlier, when KT Jaleel was held for his involvement in the smuggling case, he released some Whatsapp chats with the then Consulate of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Thiruvananthapuram. Further, he even went in front of media and tried clearing all the allegations.
