Nawazuddin Siddiqui Is Off To London Amidst COVID-19 Scare, Says ‘The Show Must Go On’

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently in London shooting his upcoming film Sangeen despite being aware of the ongoing pandemic situation the country.

Bollywood actor Nawazudddin Siddiqui is one of the most versatile actors of the Hindi film industry. Be it playing the role of a psycho killer or essaying a news reporter’s role, the actor knows how to nail his characters with perfection. Over the years, the versatile actor has carved a niche for himself in the industry and is known to get into the skin of all the roles he chooses to play. Now, despite the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown in the UK, Nawazuddin has left for London to shoot his upcoming venture Sangeen.

The news was shared by the actor himself on his social media account. With each day, the rapid spread of COVID-19 variant is growing exponentially in the UK. The country’s government has laid down strict rules to curb the spread of the disease. In his post, Nawazuddin said that he is “Off to London, aware of the tough conditions but… The Show Must Go On ! #SangeenStartsInLondon”.

Directed by Jaideep Chopra, Sangeen also stars Elnaaz Nourouzi. The shooting of the movie will be done adhering to all strict lockdown protocols in London. In the picture shared by the actor, fans can see him dressed in an all-black ensemble. Relaxing an the airport, the Manto actor has donned a face mask to protect himself from the COVID-19 virus. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has several interesting projects lined up for him. Apart from Sangeen, he will also feature in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki directed drama film No Land’s Man. The plot of the film depicts the life of a South Asian Man who faces complication after crossing path with an Australian woman in America. The film will highlight issues of identity crisis and fascism. After No Land’s Man, the actor will also be a part of projects including Bole Chudiyan and Jogira Sara Ra Ra.
