Pookalam Varavayi: What might be Sharmila’s secret motive behind agreeing to Samyuktha and Abhimanyu’s remarriage?

It’s a proven fact that Sharmila from Pookalam Varavayi has a deep-rooted hatred towards Samyuktha. In fact, she isn’t that attached to Abhimanyu either. She only likes to keep him around as she can easily sweet-talk him into obeying whatever she says. Now when she has agreed to get these two remarried, we can’t help but wonder what is she up to.

Sharmila never does anything without seeing her own gain in the process. Hence, it’s pretty evident that Sharmila hasn’t agreed to Abhimanyu and Samyuktha’s marriage without any ulterior motive. While there could be many things she wants, the top on her priority list now seems to be preventing the birth of any children in Kalapurackal, even if it is his own son Harshan’s. Parvathy, who is well aware of Sharmila’s evil nature seems to have gauged this, as she kept asking Saptathi to be careful. Here’s what we feel could be a part of Sharmila’s grand plan.

Creating a rift between Samyuktha and Abhimanyu

In the recent episodes, we saw Abhimanyu open up to Sharmila regarding his feelings for Samyuktha. Although he didn’t confess to loving her, he did mention that he doesn’t hate her anymore. And there’s nothing Sharmila fears more than Abhimanyu getting out of her hands. She will be really sweet and supportive of this whole remarriage, but will secretly be plotting to create a rift between the couple. In fact, Saudamini was also seen slyly moving out of the room and into Abhimanyu’s cabin, probably to find or hide something.

Saptathi’s Miscarriage

Sharmila doesn’t want anyone claiming a part of her property, even if it’s her own grandchildren. She has already tried multiple times to get rid of Saptathi’s yet-to-be-born child with the help of Saudamini. Once it was a banana peel, and recently it was the Papaya juice. Although Samyuktha saved her this time, she might not be there when this happens again. In fact, Sharmila will purposely keep Samyuktha distracted with the wedding rituals so that she can get rid of Saptathi’s baby.

Keep Harshan distracted

Another person who is always around Saptathi is Harshan. Sharmila has also managed to keep him distracted with the wedding work. She also hired someone else for catering despite knowing that Harshan would want to do this himself. This could also mean that maybe she’s planning on poisoning Samyuktha and Abhimanyu’s food during the marriage.

Despite all their attempts, Samyuktha and Abhimanyu have only become stronger. The only issue that lies between them currently, is the fact that Abhimanyu doesn’t express his love. While we believe that Samyuktha and Abhimanyu might get out of this mess unscathed, the same can’t be said about Saptathi.
