Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was last seen in The White Tiger has come forward to help India in fighting the Covid-19 battle. Several actors and celebrities across India are sharing verified resources amid the battle against Covid-19. Priyanka Chopra too joined hands with the forces and tweeted that the US has ordered more vaccines than they actually need, and asked them if they could share vaccines with India.
Taking it to Twitter, she wrote, “My heart breaks. India is suffering from COVID19 & the US has ordered 550M more vaccines than needed @POTUS @WHCOS @SecBlinken @JakeSullivan46 Thx for sharing AstraZeneca worldwide, but the situation in my country is critical. Will you urgently share vaccines w/ India? #vaxlive.” The Government of India will soon start vaccination for all those above the age of 18 from May 1, 2021. Priyanka Chopra Jonas thus urged the United States to help India, in the time of need. Many Twitter users lauded her for standing up for her nation and speaking up for her country while they battled with the second wave of Covid-19. Over the past few days, Priyanka Chopra has been sharing verified resources for people, on her social media handle.
