Salman Khan Planning To Remake Ravi Teja’s Khiladi In Hindi?

Salman Khan has reportedly acquired the rights to remake Ravi Teja’s Khiladi, following which he has also approached the director Ramesh Varma to helm it in Hindi as well.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been a fan favourite ever since his debut. The actor was last seen in Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai which released as a pay-per-view movie under ZEEPLEX. Salman is currently working on a few different projects including YRF’s Tiger 3. However, according to sources, Salman is planning to add another film to his kitty.

Salman Khan has made numerous action films. Similarly, the actor has also starred in several remakes of the south. Some of his renowned Tollywood remakes being, Pokiri which was remade as Wanted, Kick which retained its name even in the Hindi remake, and Stalin which was renamed as Jai Ho. After playing Ravi Teja’s role in Kick’s Bollywood remake, looks like Salman is gearing up to play another of his roles, as the actor has acquired the rights to remake Ravi Teja’s Khiladi.

Khiladi is a Telugu-language action crime thriller film written by Ramesh Varma starring Ravi Teja in a dual role. The teaser of Khiladi was released on April 12, 2021, with an intention to release the film on May 28, 2021, in cinemas. However, the same couldn’t happen and the film has been postponed indefinitely, due to the ongoing lockdown.

While fans were super excited to see their favourite Ravi Teja in Khiladi and appreciated the teaser upon release, looks like even our Bhai, Salman Khan was impressed with it. Salman bought the rights to remake the film and even approached the director Ramesh Varma, asking him to helm it in Hindi as well. However, Ramesh is yet to respond to Salman Khan’s offer.

If the past is any hint, Salman will himself essay the role Ravi is playing, although he might change the title of the film. Bollywood clearly knows Akshay Kumar by the name of Khiladi or Khiladi Kumar, Salman would surely want to rename the film to avoid any confusion.
