Sameer Wankhede’s Wife And Marathi Actress Kranti Redkar Addresses Media On Allegations Against Her Husband

Sameer Wankhede is the officer-in-charge of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s drug case. He is facing some serious allegations from Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik. Malik has made bitter remarks against the officer and also dragged his family members into the matter. Now Sameer Wankhede’s wife and Marathi actress Kranti Redkar held a press conference to clear the facts around the issue. On Tuesday, she said that the NCB’s Mumbai zone director is an honest officer, and that is why he has enemies.

Reiterating that there is no evidence of extortion against her husband, Redkar claimed that Sameer Wankhede’s life is under threat. She has also reacted to Nawab Malik’s allegations of extortion and illegal phone tapping against the NCB official. Kranti Redkar said that her husband is not wrong. They will not tolerate this.

While talking to the media Kranti said that the allegation made on Sameer are completely baseless. He is a very honest officer and she is sure time will reveal everything. It’s very sad that instead of encouraging such officers, he is targeted and trying to tarnish his image. But she knows they are right and they have proof, Justice will always prevail is what she said.

When the media asked the actress about NCB targeting Bollywood celebs, to which Kranti replied that she don’t think it’s true. There is so much noise being made that he is targeting celebrities. There may be 2 to 3 per cent cases related to celebrities rest of 95 per cent cases are related to drug peddlers. She further added that she doesn’t think Sameer is in connection with any political party. He belongs to the central government and works neutrally. If any party believes or feel that Sameer is working in the favour of any political party then such people need to clear up their mind.

While concluding the actress said that all need to come out of this kitchen politics. If anyone has proof then they can present it before the court. Making allegations against any officer on social media will not work. Kranti thinks it’s very sad to see that people from such status target police officers’ family and the worst part is, this is happening openly, Sameer Wankhede’s wife concluded.
