SSR Case: Mumbai Police Was Very Professional In Its Investigation, Says Commissioner Parambir Singh

After AIIMS forensic panel concluded that Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide, Mumbai Police Commissioner expresses his views over the entire scene.

The Mumbai police had faced a lot of backlashes for their investigation processes in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Sushant’s family and many political leaders demanded the CBI probe showing a lack of trust towards the Mumbai Police. However, recently the AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) forensic panel concluded that Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide. Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh said that from the very beginning the force had conducted a very professional and thorough investigation, but some vested interest ran a motivated campaign to malign them. The Police Commissioner further said that ” We maintained a very professional approach while investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the doctors of Cooper Hospital, and our experts also conducted a very in-depth inquiry into all evidence.

The detailed reports of the investigation were also submitted to the honourable Supreme Court. Further, after studying and analyzing the reports the SC said there is no fault in the investigation conducted by the Mumbai Police, but some individuals and parties strived to malign Mumbai Police and distract the investigation
