Sushant Singh Rajput Case: CBI SIT Grills Cook Neeraj

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Special Investigation Team (SIT), probing the Sushant Singh Rajput death case following the Supreme Court’s order, on Friday (August 21), questioned the late actor’s cook Neeraj for over three hours. Neeraj was quizzed about what happened on June 13, the day before Rajput died and on the day of his death. Neeraj had earlier recorded his statement with the Bihar Police. This time, the CBI recorded his statement under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). The key points on which Neeraj was questioned are as follows:

Neeraj has been asked about what happened on June 13. Who all were present in the room? How long did Sushant Singh Rajput stay with other flatmates? What was Rajput’s mood like? Did Rajput have dinner that night? When did Rajput retire for the day? Who found the body the next morning on June 14? Who brought the body down? Did someone ask the body to be brought down? If yes, who was it? When was the PR call made? Who made the call? Who all stayed in Rajput’s flat in the last six months?
