Sushant Singh Rajput’s father and sister have alleged that CBI must look into the probe as a case of murder and not as abetment to suicide.

Weeks after filing an FIR with the Bihar Police accusing Rhea Chakraborty and five others of ‘abetment to suicide’ apart from other charges, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has now alleged ‘murder’ in their statement to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). According to a report on a leading news channel, Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh and sister alleged that the central investigative agency should look into the case as that of murder and not as an abetment to suicide.

It was reported that the CBI recorded the statement of Rajput’s father and his family on Monday (August 10) at the residence of OP Singh, who is the Commissioner of Faridabad. As per the reports on the channel, the CBI will also go through the statements recorded by Bihar Police in Mumbai. These developments and new allegations come ahead of  Chakraborty’s hearing at the Supreme Court, seeking a transfer of the FIR from Bihar to Mumbai.
