Sushant Singh Rajput’s Family Alleges Lapses In His Post-Mortem Report
Trending NewsThe late actor’s post-mortem was allegedly conducted even before his Coronavirus test results arrived
In a fresh development in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, his family has questioned why his post-mortem procedure was performed even before the results of his coronavirus test had arrived.
The family pointed out that his deceased ex-manager, Disha Salian’s COVID19 test was conducted on June 9, as soon as her body reached the hospital. Her autopsy was completed on 11 June, only after her test reports were cleared.
On 14 June, the Dhoni actor’s father and sister had not even arrived in Mumbai from Bihar, when the autopsy was conducted at 11 pm on the same night of his death.
The Mumbai police is yet to respond to this allegation by the family. Also questionable is why the Cooper Hospital authorities, where the body of the actor was brought, flouted the coronavirus standard protocol of testing and waiting for the reports, before any further procedure.
Recently, Sushant’s father KK Singh was subjected to character assassination by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who claimed that Singh and his son shared a strained relationship due to the former’s second marriage. The family rubbished this statement and responded with a legal notice, asking the leader to either apologize or face the law.
Almost two months after Rajput’s death, the case has now been handed over by Bihar Police to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), while the Supreme Court is yet to decide on the jurisdiction of this matter. His cousin Neeraj Kumar said that the family wants justice and not politics around the death of his brother.
