The victim Manisha Valmiki lost her life two weeks after the rape in a Delhi hospital. The police are now investigating the involvement of caste in this case as the rapists were reportedly belonging to an upper caste as opposed to the victim who was a Dalit. Let’s hope that justice is served and culprits are punished for their cruel acts by the court.
