Thapki Pyaar Ki 2: Lead Actress Jigyasa Singh Expresses Her Excitement; Says, ‘Elated For Being A Part Of 2nd Season’

The current times in Indian television have been witnessing quite a few sequels to some really popular shows. Well, the latest one to join this list of sequels is Thapki Pyaar Ki. The initial season of this show was in itself a super hit, which is why the makers of Thapki have decided to come back with its season 2. The promo of Thapki 2 is already out and all the fans of this show have been excited to witness their favourite show once again. 

Jigyasa Singh, who played the role of Thapki in the first installment of the show, has been retained by the makers of the show for its season 2.

Talking about her character to a media portal, Jigyasa expressed her excitement and revealed that she is really excited to be a part of the show once again. Jigyasa revealed that this time, her character on the show will not be similar to the last season. She said, this time her character will be much more opinionated and strong. 

Jigyasa said, ” The story will be about a girl who stammers, but otherwise, it will be a different script.” Jigyasa had also revealed that only she and Jaya Bhattacharya have been retained from the show’s original cast and that the storyline will be quite different too. Well, this certainly rubbishes all assumptions of Manish Goplani being roped in opposite Jigyasa Singh on the show. 

Talking about Thapki Pyaar Ki 2, a few days back the promo of the show has been released by the channel. Though Thapki is still the girl who stammers, her look this time can be seen quite differently.

Jigyasa Singh was last seen in the popular show Shakti astitva ke ehsas ki, where she was seen portraying the role of Heer, a transgender. Jigyasa was roped in the show after a leap was introduced, post which Rubina Dilaik had bid adieu to the show. A few days back, Jigyasa had bid Shakti a final adieu. The actress took to her Instagram handle to express her love and respect for her character and has also gone ahead to call Heer once in a lifetime kind of a character.
