The Comedy Couple Teaser Introduces You To The Dysfuctional Duo – Zoya Batra And Deep Sharma

Comedy Couple is unique story of a couple in a relationship who are also trying to make it as a stand-up comedy duo. Saqib Saleem and Shweta Basu Prasad will be seen playing the roles of Deep Sharma and Zoya Batra. This romantic comedy is set in the stand-up comedy scene in Delhi and also features comedians including Aadar Malik and Jasmeet Singh Bhatia a.k.a Jizzy.

Saqib Saleem and Shweta Basu Prasad shared quite a fun chemistry on sets and it shows in the teaser too. As a romantic couple who also perform together, their jokes end up being about each other. We see glimpses of their relationship from their first fight to their break-up and even a potential reunion?

The film directed by Nachiket Samant and produced by Yoodle films who won a national award for their film Hamid. The film is shot at actual stand-up comedy clubs and venues around Gurgaon. Our favourite dialogue from the film has to be ‘Main toh average hi hoon, par tere bina below average ho jaata hoon.’
