Throwback Thursday: Take a look back at the time when Emily and Sandy made a messy entrance

Revisiting moments and memories always leaves a smile on our faces. So for this Throwback Thursday, we revisit the first episode of our favourite rom-com, Vilayti Bhabhi.

The excitement of villagers 

Pindwaale are busy in preparations. The whole village is geared up to welcome Sukhvinder aka Sandy (Kanwalpreet Singh) with his vilaytan wife Emily (Isha Gupta). From Sandy’s grandmom Gulab Kaur and his mother Nirmal, to the house help Nawab (Gursewak Singh), everyone makes sure that nothing is remiss in their welcome.

All hat and no cattle

Yeah, that’s what happens when Sandy’s car enters the village. The villagers welcome the newly-wedded duo with band baaja. But as soon as Sandy and Emily step out, people go dumb. What can they do, nazara hi kuch aisa tha? 

This is Sandy and his wife Emily. As soon as they step out of the car, Jackson, his wife Binder, Sarpanchini, and others go speechless.

Actually, while going home, Sandy’s car breaks down and they take a lift on a tractor. The tractor’s driver is so taken aback by Emily’s beauty that he hits handbrake and throws Sandy and Emily into the mud!
