Throwback Thursday: Here’s a recap of Suman Dey and Manali Dey’s passionate performance in last year’s Zee Bangla Sonar Sansar Awards

The Zee Bangla Sonar Sansar Awards 2021 are coming soon and the voting lines for different categories are open now. In the video, we see Nakshi Kantha actors Jash (played by Suman Dey) and Shabnam (played by Manali Dey) romancing on the stage of Zee Bangla Sonar Sansar Awards 2020 to the song Mere Rashke Qamar, sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The Sufi song, along with the beautiful choreography, exhibits passion and grace at the same time. Much like the reel-life chemistry, Suman and Manali have great coordination on stage as well. The actors were seen together in the show where they essayed the role of the lead couple Jash and Shabnam. Shabnam belongs to a Muslim family and aspires to be a successful doctor. On the other hand, Jashojit aka Jash is a city boy and also a doctor who helps Shabnam fulfil her dreams by marrying her.
