Varun Dhawan To Play A Handicapped Cop In Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sanki

Varun Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala have always proven to be blockbuster duo at the box office. And now after doing 2 films together namely, Dishoom and Judwaa 2, this duo is back to charm the audience with their 3rd film. Varun Dhawan had been bagging back to back projects this year. After Bhediya, Jug Jug Jiyo and Ekkis, Varun has now added another movie to the list with Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sanki.

Sanki is an official remake of the 2016 Tamil thriller film, Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. Sanki is going to be helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala who has already bought the rights of this film. The film is supposed to be a neo-noir crime thriller, in which Varun Dhawan would be seen essaying the role of a handicapped cop.

This would be the first time when the Main Tera Hero actor will be essaying the role of a physically disabled person. Portraying this role might be a challenge, but looking at his track record, we’re sure that Varun would pull this off really well. Sanki is assumed to go on floors soon, as soon as Varun Dhawan wraps up his current scheduling.

Varun who is currently shooting for Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon has committed to shooting Sanki after Bhediya and Jug Jug Jiyo. Only post that will he start with the short for Sriram Raghavan’s Ekkis.
