Watch: Sonu Sood Leads From The Front To Help People Amid The Covid-19 Crisis!

Amid the Covid-19 crisis, actor Sonu Sood has emerged as a ‘messiah’ for many people. Even as the nation continues to grapple with the second wave, the actor has not stopped his humanitarian work. Being at the forefront, he is working relentlessly to help people during these difficult times. From oxygen cylinders, hospital beds to other Covid-19 resources, the actor is arranging it all, connecting with people through his social media handles.

Ever since the Covid-19 pandemic hit all across the nation, Sonu Sood has been actively involved in many Covid relief campaigns. Last year during the lockdown, the actor also helped thousands of stranded migrant workers reach their hometowns. Also, he has helped many people get employed in these hard times. For his kind acts, the Dabangg star has become a favourite of the masses.

Recently, pictures and videos of Sonu from his residence went viral over the internet. Wherein, he is seen stepping out and guiding people who approached him for help. In the pictures, Sonu was seen talking with people who needed his support. Also, on Sunday, the actor took to his Twitter handle to open up about his “helplessness” when he is unable to save people who had approached him for help.

The actor was grieving about the same. He wrote, “Losing a patient u have been trying to save, is nothing less than losing your own. It is so hard to face the family whose loved one u had promised to save. Today I lost a few. The families u were in touch with at least 10 times a day will lose touch forever. Feel helpless.”

Sonu’s efforts amid the Covid-19 crisis were applauded by citizens as well as the government. Recently, he had shared that his team is currently working to set up an oxygen plant in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool and Nellore. The actor had emphasized the need for “development” in the rural areas.

On the work front, Sonu will be next seen in the Telugu film Acharya alongside Chiranjeevi. He also has a new project titled ‘Kisaan’ on his work line.
