Sindoora scolds Cheenu for bringing Vidya but just then Raghavs friend Dr. Sinha (Adarsh Gautam) says that Raghav would like to meet only Vidya, and takes her away. Raghav tells Vidya that he is happy to have got Sagar married to her before dying. He asks her to promise him that she will not let his family disintegrate and never leave Sagar. She promises. Raghav passes away. Everyone breaks down. Just then Sagar asks what happened to their father. Later, Chandra informs Dr. Sinha that Uma refuses to come out, so Vidya volunteers to talk to her. When Uma sees Vidya, she breaks down. Vidya asks Uma to attend Raghavs last rites. Sindoora and her sisters are surprised to see Vidya bring Uma. On the other hand, Hema and Harish stage a drama and tell Sindoora that Raghav died as soon as Vidya stepped into the house! Chandra and Mahua tell Dr. Sinha that Sagar will not light his fathers funeral pyre because he is afraid of fire, so Dr. Sinha requests Vidya to convince Sagar. Vidya agrees but Chandra and Mahua warn her not to. Just then, Sindoora asks them to let Vidya try talking to Sagar. Vidya goes to Sagar. Sindoora then tells her sisters that it is the best chance to teach Vidya a lesson!
