Sindoora and her sisters taunt Vidya about how an illiterate bumpkin like her will look after their fathers vast inheritance but Dr. Sinha requests Vidya to at least put her thumb impression on the documents. Uma too requests her to go ahead as it was her husbands dying wish. Vidya obliges, and Dr. Sinha says that nobody can remove her out of the house now. He asks Vidya to come to him any time she needed him. Uma defiantly tells Sindoora that even after Raghavs death, only his word would hold good at home. Vidya gets ready for the ceremony but Cheenu informs Uma that Sindoora and her sisters as well as Sagar had declined from coming. Vidya volunteers to pacify them and even succeeds. Kartik instigates Sindoora and her sisters to demand their right. Sindoora vows to remove Vidya from their house within a month by making her life a hell! Meanwhile, the rituals are completed, and the priest suggests that Vidya give away the money to them. Sindoora says that like every time, each priest will be given Rs. 11001/- However, the priests get furious when they see a measly amount of Rs. 11 being given away to them! They walk away angry. Sindoora blames Vidya and demands to know how her fathers soul would rest in peace!
