Bindiya gets excited when she listens to Phulan and Bhushan speaking of retiring and announcing the next King of Begusarai. But Bindiya gets annoyed when Badi Dadi enters the scene and does not agree to Phulan. Later, Laakhan gets furious when he realizes that Poonam has successfully applied the medicine on his palm in spite of his warnings. He starts to shout at her and forces her to drink the medicine. At the same time, Daund reaches the haveli and openly declares his love for Guddi. Mithilesh hears this and gets furious with Daund. Surprisingly, Guddi accuses Daund of pestering her for a long while and this gets Mithilesh mad. Laakhan hears Daund screaming for help and dashes downstairs to rescue him.
