Bhushan orders Mithilesh and Laakhan to hug each other and forget their enmity. The two of them do as asked and the entire family is happy and believe that Mithilesh and Laakhan have reunited. Later, Phulan orders Mithilesh to ask his men to leave Bindiya outside Begusarai as he agrees that Bindiya has done wrong by speaking ill of Poonam and Priyom. But to everybody's surprise, Mithilesh refuses. He later clarifies that he has already given his word to Bindiya that she will be leaving Begusarai only after she performs on the day of Laakhan's marriage with Poonam. Since the Thakurs are always stick to their word, Phulan lets Bindiya stay until the night of the marriage. Meanwhile, Bindiya is being attended to by her friend and just then she gets the news that she has to stay until the marriage. Later, Mithilesh' wife Maya asks him if he is in love with Bindiya, but Mithilesh makes it clear to her that he loves only her and can never be in love with anyone else.
