Priyom enters Poonam's room and finds out that she is suffering from severe fever. He immediate rushes to Maya and gives her this information. He later understands that if Poonam and Laakhan are to be married the next day it might create a lot of problems in the family. He later goes to meet Laakhan who is trying to bully the band people to perform during his wedding. Seeing Priyom before him Laakhan assumes that he is here to convince him to not marry Poonam, but he is surprised to learn that Priyom is here to encourage him and help him with the marriage proceedings. The doctor meanwhile arrives and attends to Poonam. He later informs her parents that she cannot be ready for her marriage the next day but Manchita shows no pity for his daughter and declares that she will anyhow attend her marriage.
