Akhila gets furious with Vilasini for advising her to talk with Nandana's parents about dowry. Meanwhile, Kalyani cooks food for the family as Sarojini falls ill. Vilasini goes to the kitchen and adds salt to the food. She dreams of Maheshwari lashing out at Akhila after tasting the food, but she is shocked on hearing Nandana's comments about the food.
