Lakshmi pleads with Kavita to convince Karan not to destroy her or her family but Kavita replies that even if her brother and she have to get ruined in the process, it would be worth it! Karan tells Lakshmi that she will not be able to understand their pain. In Garodia Niwas, Yuvraj feels bad about Menka having prepared his favourite dishes, so he promises to have it the next day. Pavitra warns Menka that once a son grows up, a wife has more right over him, not a mother! Meanwhile, Karan surprises Suryakant and his family with a surprise dinner in a restaurant to celebrate the newly formed partnership. Coincidentally, Yuvraj and Pavitra also come to the same restaurant. Despite Pavitra's objection, Yuvraj goes ahead to meet Suryakant. Suryakant feigns ignorance and says that he had only one son but was dead now. Yuvraj walks away angrily with Pavitra. Yuvraj complains to Menka about how stone-hearted his father had become! Menka suggests that he forget what Suryakant said. Pavitra asks Yuvraj to forget the insults that Suryakant had hurled only because his mother says so! She taunts Menka about supporting the man who considered her son dead! Yuvraj walks away in a huff. Meanwhile, Karan warns Lakshmi how he will destroy Suryakant exactly a month later on his father's death anniversary and seek his revenge. He challenges Lakshmi to rescue her father!
