Kabir and Zara argue furiously about what is appropriate by the Islamic code of conduct. Meanwhile, Shahbaz instructs Khalid to call a Sharia board meeting. Further, at the meeting, Shahbaz wants Kabir to replace him as a member of the board. Kabir is promptly sworn in as the Vice Chairman. Qazi advises Zara to apply for a job as a teacher at one of the Sharia board schools. Zara and Kabir get shocked when they meet as Kabir, the Vice Chairman, will be conducting Zara's interview.
