Naradmuni recounts the incident when Mount Meru starts sinking in the sea. Mount Meru apologizes to Vishnu as he fails to obey his orders. Vishnu invokes Samudradev and requests him to help the gods and demons while churning the ocean. Mhalsa tells Naradmuni that Vishnu should always stay with Lakshmi. Mhalsa asks Khanderaya whether she was involved in the process of Samudra manthan. Khanderaya assures Mhalsa that her doubts will be cleared while listening to the holy discourse.
