Tatya Guru allows Laxmibai to leave for Jhansi. Laxmibai tells him that she was entrusting her camp to him. Just then, Rao Dulajo come and informs her that all was well in Jhansi. Rao Dulajo shows her the letter apparently written by Ellis. Laxmibai asserts that her victory the next day would be Damodar's gift for his next birthday. Meanwhile, Ladai Sarkar discusses the next day's strategies with Hamilton and says that she will get back Jhansi. Ghaus Khan shows Laxmibai and her confidantes the power of the cannonballs created by him. At the break of dawn, Orchha and Jhansi armies assemble on the battlefield. Laxmibai tells her soldiers that she never wanted to wage a battle against fellow Indians but Ladai Sarkar compelled her to. On the other hand, Ladai Sarkar exhorts her soldiers to slay their enemies and if need be, even become martyrs. Just then, the mendicant arrives and asks Ladai Sarkar to stop the bloodshed and join hands with Laxmibai instead but Ladai Sarkar gets angry with him again. The battle begins and Tatya Tope wonders why the Orchha soldiers were not moving towards them. Will Laxmibai walk into the trap set by Ladai Sarkar?
