Pragya visits Dr. Sheila to find out why she authenticated Tanu's DNA report. She learns that someone has kidnapped Dr. Sheila's daughter, Pari, and as a ransom, she had to lie. Meanwhile, Abhi tells Purab that he doubts Tanu's intentions, and he will delve into the matter. Later, Nikhil tells Tanu that he anticipated that Pragya could bust Tanu for forging the DNA report. Aliya tells Tanu that she kidnapped Pari, as a backup plan, to convert Dr. Sheila's statement in Tanu's favour.
