Thakumaa is heartbroken, after being blamed by Jogmaya for supporting Rani. Meanwhile, as Chandra prepares to leave for Makimpur, Rani refuses to go with him. Chandra notices Thakumaa crying, after which he charges Jogmaya for insulting Thakumaa. Thereafter, Jogmaya repents blaming and insulting Thakumaa. Jogmaya is stunned to see an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi in Rani, while she is leaving. Chandra tells Anandamoyee that the women of the Marh house are entitled to freedom like the men.
