Mathur reveals his identity to Talukdar's nayeb and the villagers, following which the two parties begin to fight, and Mathur gets injured. Talukdar's nayeb informs about it to Talukdar Mosai, who comes up with a solution to the incident. Abhay blames Shoroju for Rani's doubts in him. Mathur returns home, and the Marh family members get worried about his injury. Padma criticises Mathur for not thinking about his own safety. Later, Rani and Jagadamba nurse Mathur's wounds.
